He will give us the backstory of why this means so much to him, as he overcomes the various tasks needed to be complete in a motor race. Through his journey, the viewer will relate to Alex and contemplate what they let get in the way of their dreams.

Billy will be included in the documentary through a special interview. After competing in motorsport his whole life, he suffered a horrible crash in 2017 which led to both of his legs being amputated. He will be an incredible asset to our documentary as he will explain how he let nothing get in the way of him achieving his goal of Formula One. This will be an important interview for Alex, as he will evaluate what he let get in the way of his dream beforehand.

BRUNO SPENGLER

Bruno is a great asset to the documentary as he is a professional racing driver who has won one of the largest championships in the world. He will be involved in multiple sections of the documentary by showing Alex about how to drive when out on the track. He will be able to give some pro-tips, for example, how to get the best start of the starting grid and how to make up positions when racing. He will be seen in the documentary as Alex's guide and be a professional outlook on what Alex needs to achieve and learn.

DESCRIPTION - Bruno is one of the leading DTM (German touring car championship) drivers and has won the championship once (in 2012). He is a BMW factory driver and is seen as one of the best in the world in his discipline. This knowledge will be useful in allowing Alex to learn specific details about becoming a racing driver.

SAM McKEE

Sam will be mentioned throughout the documentary and will become a large part of the second half of the documentary. He is the owner of the BMW that Alex will race. They will share the car over the 45-minute race and Sam will constantly be helping Alex become a faster driver. Sam will also have questions asked to him by the producer, to help move the story along.

DESCRIPTION - Sam is a massive motorsport fan who, in 2017, turned that passion into a reality. He took a road legal BMW 3 series and converted it into a race car. He has raced the car in 2017 and 2018 with some good success. He has achieved class wins and multiple class podiums. The car is still road legal and he drives the car to every single round of the championship.

Various race drivers will be interviewed in this documentary with the idea of learning as much as possible about the first steps into motorsport. The questions that shall be asked, will include important topics such as Finances, fitness and simulation sessions. We will also speak to these drivers about their hopes and aspirations for the future. The exact drivers will be decided by the producer in early 2019.

The reason they will be relevant to the documentary, is that they have the experience which will allow Alex to prepare for his race. Alex's Dad will be involved throughout the documentary as he was the person to get Alex involved with motorsport from an early age. He will appear in one specific scene where he and Alex return to the location where they went to watch their first ever motor race together. They will chat with each other about that experience and also delve into why it interested him. As he is the reason for Alex's passion in the sport, he will appear on other occasions to help show the meaning of this event to Alex. This will help give the documentary depth and understanding.
